Welcome to Long Term Sports, and congratulations on taking this course. You're here because your child plays a sport, and you want to get this right. Here's the good news: you don't need to know anything about the sport itself. The best sport parents aren't former athletes or coaches. They're parents who understand what their kid actually needs from them, and who show up the same way on a great day and on a rough one. Over the next hour, across eight short modules, we'll cover how kids develop, what your role is on the team, the sideline, the car ride home, pressure and praise, playing time, and safety. This first module is about the foundation: why kids play sports in the first place, why so many of them quit, and what that means for you. Each module ends with a short quiz. Pass all eight and you'll receive a Long Term Sports certification you can share with your club. Let's get started.
